Take the Gospel to All the World

Fun, laughter, and new friends, combined with Christian values, enable campers to better understand God’s power in their lives.

And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Mark 1:17

King’s kids camp is at Camp Wartburg

King‘s Kid Camp
is for kids who will be entering grades 4th through 9th grade in the fall.

Teen Discipleship Camp is for 15 to 18-year-olds who have completed 9th through 12th grade.

King’s Kids Camp is an overnight camp that takes place at Camp Wartburg near Waterloo, Illinois and is sponsored by several St. Louis area Evangelical Free churches.

Campers should arrive on Sunday, July 19th between 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
Camp finishes on Friday, July 24th. Families should arrive for luggage pick up at 6:30pm and stay for the closing program from 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm.

The theme for this year is, “Take the Gospel to all the World – In the Footsteps of Paul.”  Each day, campers will learn more about the life of the apostle Paul, such as his conversion and how he shared the Gospel throughout his life, and they will be challenged to grow in their faith in Jesus, too.

Campers will have a wonderful time enjoying great camp activities, such as morning watches, swimming, archery, canoeing, crafts, games, water carnival, relays, creek walks, “the gauntlet,” a giant slip-and-slide, campfires, candle time, a scavenger hunt, crazy games, special activities, and special presentations. The older campers can choose to do the high ropes course if they wish. At King’s Kids Camp, campers also chose a worship workshop, where they focus on one type of worship skill, such as Art, Drama, Stomp Percussion, Video Skits, or a Creation Workshop. It is a fantastic week where campers can grow in their faith while having a great time!

Registration for the week is $550. Scholarships may be available to help with the cost. Please check with your local church.
